Woof Camp 2009-Race Ya
On Friday night May 22, 2009 from 8pm-midnight the San Francisco K-9 Unit produced the Woof Camp 2009 "Race Ya" pup party at International Mr. Leather in Chicago, IL. First and foremost we would like to thank our sponsor Scott of SquarePegToys [maker of the original silicone puppy tails]. Without his continual monetary support and support of our community in general, Woof Camp might not be the success that it is today. Please make sure to either email and say thank you or shop from his wide selection of erotic toys and support his business.

Woof Camp 2009 “Race Ya” had over 70 pups and 37 Handlers in attendance. We had two different sessions: Session A was just for pups/Dogs and Handlers where enamel leather dog pride pins were handed out [while supplies lasted], an Active and Quiet area, a vet exam with commemorative rabies tags, a grooming station, dog races, pinatas and pet portraits; Session B was open to the public with over 300 people who came to the party to watch the pups and Handlers having a good time.

We would like to specifically thank the pups and Handlers who freely came forward when the howl went out when we were needing volunteer help, without you ALL this event would not have occurred. “Thank You” for giving of yourselves, your time and “can do” attitude and energy, this positive social support is what makes the pup community so great! The following are those who deserve howls and a-paws [in alphabetical order]: Alpha Dawg , DawgSpike, DJ Sam Storicks, ErrorWolf and Star, LthrDevilPup, pup CRAZ10-8, pup Nitro, Event Photographer Rich Stadtmiller, Roman, Rubberboi and friends, Sam, Sir Michael, boy patt and slave marty, Sir Puppybone Pawprint, Tazpuppy, TigerPup, Boots and TrainerBen.

And finally, the Woof Camp committee members themselves, who gave numerous hours, weeks and volunteered at the event to make Woof Camp 2009 flow flawlessly so no one would be the wiser of just how much effort and personal time it takes to make this event happen: ChampSF, Chomper, Gunny, Master Richard, SF Lthr Wolf, Spunky and Throbbin.

And finally the biggest thank-you goes to Brue. He was once again the driving force that made Woof Camp 2009 “Race Ya” a success and we want to publicly thank him for his tireless workload, his caring heart and his incredible dedication.
